About
I'm Zivko. I design brands and build their websites, and I do both parts myself, because the handoff between a brand agency and a web shop is where most of the quality goes missing.
Before the studio I spent ten years designing products for US startups, and co-founded Kinta, a personal finance app, in Serbia.
The work is mostly removing things. A mark that still reads at 16 pixels, a page that says one thing, a button that does what it says. What is left should lie flat.
I work New York hours from Serbia. Your calls land in your afternoon, and the site is built while you sleep.

Why iron.
A hot iron is three tools at once. It burns a brand into a surface, it is the moment you are told to strike, and it takes the wrinkles out. The studio does all three.
Iron is also in my surname, which comes from the Serbian word for it. Not ironic. Just iron.

What the studio believes
01
A brand is pressed, not decorated.
The work is mostly removing things until what is left lies flat.
02
Design and build are one job.
The person who draws the button also decides how it moves.
03
Details are the product.
What a visitor remembers is how the site felt under their hand.
04
Show, don't claim.
The studio makes no statement about itself that its own site cannot demonstrate.
